It seemed rare. This year a bunch. Tommy White just hasn't reached his groove yet.

I remember TW hitting into some like clockwork.

Kinda like how everybody bitched about how many runners we left on base last year--the more runners you get on, the more you're gonna leave on, and the more DPs you're gonna hit in. Good thing is a lot have been Tommy, which means he's getting a lot of opportunities with guys on. He's just struggling a bit with his shoulder early on. He'll get better and those 6-4-3s will turn into multiple RBIs before too long.

We just need to put a picture of Crews somewhere White can see it for when he’s up to bat.

He did. He's a great hitter but he's been pressing hard as shite so far.

That’s the downside of hitting the ball so hard right at people. You are more likely to ground into a double play.

when you get on base a lot you are going to have dps and runners left on base. i'll take that over not getting on base at all.

That is always going to happen with first pitch swingers. It cuts both ways though.

It was a major complaint on this board for most of the season.

Only thing I tell Tommy right now for this weekend only would be to take every first pitch strike.

Seems like he’s pressing. The team is showing to have plenty of offensive capability, so no sense feeling like he has to carry anything at this point.
