That game was won by the refs.

LSU ranked third in the nation for wins for P5 programs for a decade, won more games than any other SEC program during that time, and played for two national championships.
Yeah, LSU didn’t have any success at all when miles had anything to do with moving the chains. lol
I thought it was remarkable that Cincinnati was even able to reach the Super Bowl with a number of times during the playoffs their quarterback went down.

Good thing is the Bengals have plenty of cap space to remedy it. If I'm not mistaken, they are one of the top cap space teams to make a super bowl ever. Something around 58 mill. Depending on what's out there in the market for FA and trading, they could get two guys and then get a guy in the first round. If I were them I'd move Boyd or Uzomah and another starter for a top 10 starting tackle.

Burrow hurt his knee that is why thw play calling changed. He touched it out and probably got a shot to numb it but he was definitely hurt.

Were they asleep at the wheel for the long touchdown the Bengals got in making sure the Rams won?

They were 4th and 1 away from keeping their chance to win alive. They may have tied or won after that, but you're assuming a lot.

Looking at LSU going forward, I think this bodes well for us, because CBK understands this and is actively working on our OLine.
Reality will not hit until then, just like in 2019 Spring when Joe Brady went
The 2022 LSU OL "should" be improved, but that's not saying much.
The 2021 LSU Defense was improved over the 2020 Bo Abomination, but still not anywhere near SEC West/SEC Championship caliber.
Kelly, Davis and Quinn have their work cut out for them this year, because there's just not enough talented bodies there yet.......
BTW, Whitworth and the Rams OL.

I disagree. They helped, that game was won because Burrow was sacked 7 times in a quarter and half. That game was lost because they stopped double teaming Cupp for some stupid reason.

sliding the center to 99 early in the game allowed him some room to operate or escape. putting the 5th rusher over the center to force cincy into man protection schemes is what changed the game. 67 and 77 had no chance vs donald

Yeah, ask Archie Manning. Spent most of his career running around and getting sacked. Joe needs an offensive line but give some credit to Rams defense.

4th and 1 with less than a minute so not that close to winning.

2019 LSU Offensive line won the Moore Award. They were great.

Are the refs in the trenches?
Actually they are, I recall a few games this year where teams were trying to run a hurry up offense and couldn't efficiently because a slow arse stumbling ref had to get in the trenches to touch the ball

One commentator believes the Tampa Bay center will likely be available.
That is one OL the Bengals could certainly use.

I need my eyes checked because I could have sworn they got stopped at midfield instead of the goal line.

Well, surely they would be unstoppable if they just made that conversion. Donald and Co. would have just given up.

Cincy gave up 3 points in the second half without the penalty that was called. The defensive holding on Logan Wilson won the game for LA, not the trenches. That was perfect coverage by a linebacker on Cooper Kupp. Call it what you like.

Which means they needed about 10-15 yards to get into field goal range for the Cincy kicker.

I didn't realize pulling a receiver's jersey to slow him down and gain leverage for a pass deflection was considered perfect coverage.
