Watch the video of drunk lsu fans going after bama staff and needing to be separated by the deputies. I don’t see how someone can see that and think rushing the field all the time is a good idea. It’s too chaotic and it’s a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Fans of teams not expected to win (underdogs) that pull off upset storm the field. Or games of two highly ranked teams. Storming the field after UAB drubbing would be bush league nonsense.

I think you have people that have never experienced it that are just trying to find a reason to do it.

It's kind of embarrassing to be rushing the field, actually. We've won three national championships in the last 18 or 19 years and came very close to a couple more. You'd think we could act like we've won a few important games before.

We shouldn't have done it last night. But after the last couple years I can get it

If the goal post don't come down, the visitors sideline is respected, and the opposing players make it off the field ok, then I have no problem with rushing the field to celebrate a big win.

By all accounts I've seen, all three things happened last night. Big games should feel big and last night's felt huge and I loved the fans celebrating on the field to close it out.

What a win, Geaux Tigers!!

Got a link? All I saw was stadium security holding a rope around the bama sideline and LSU fans respecting it.

No. It’s not correct. I sat by four older bama fans that live outside of Birmingham. It was their first time in TS, they told us how crazy and electric it was and how bama is very boring compared to how it use to be. They were enjoying the field rush surprisingly too.

College football is meant to be fun, go to an nfl game if you want an elite atmosphere

How? We’ve slayed the demon. Do you want to rush the field every time we’re an underdog going forward? I had no problem doing it last night, but it shouldn’t be a norm.

I mean that's how it was in 2003 when we beat Georgia. Police were all lined up while we were still standing on our seats like wtf are you doing? We expected to win. We're not rushing the field.

frick that. "Act like you belong" is so overrated.

Nobody should strive to be like Bama fans. They're a miserable breed. We have fun, let's keep it that way.

We will prolly have to beat Jawja twice to win it all this year. Do we rush the field for both wins?

I don't think it was needed rushing the field vs Ole Miss or Alabama. Alabama I understand more because of their dominance but still LSU is on par with these teams, not lagging behind.
