Could be positive or negative if you think about it. Like Doc said how many 3 past consecutive losses does a team have the lead with 2 mins to go?

What do you make of that statistic?
This game was different. LSU took the lead in the final minutes of a shoot out. Georgia then responded, and LSU fell short to put together a winning drive.
LSU had a fairly comfortable lead on Clemson, but shite the bed in the 4th quarter.
LSU rallied to take the lead from Alabama, but Bama was able to put together a game winning driver after LSU failed to run out the clock.
All of these losses were very different.
You might be able to compare Bama and Clemson simply because LSU needed to run out the clock and hang on. In the UGA loss I wish LSU hadn't scored so quick.

The last 3 teams we lost to were really good teams, and we were in it until the end of the game?

I suppose, but it's not a good thing to fail to close out games, however it happens. We fail on both sides of the ball at the most critical time. Not to use some lame ESPN catch phrase, but we are not "clutch" on either side of the ball when it matters the most against good teams.
We still had, what, 1:50 to get to field goal range? Still couldn't do it when it mattered most. Defense let them drive the length of the field, again, when it mattered most. Both O and D failed when it mattered in all 3 games.
Ole Miss was the only game recently where either side of the ball grabbed the bull by the horns and won the game, not counting rent a wins.

Yea, I read that.
I am very disappoint.

Bottom line, we can't give the opposing team the ball back with more than 1:00 left in the game.

Should petition the NCAA for 58 minute games. Problem solved!

The defense let the opposing offense drive right down the field and score or kick a game winning field goal
What don't you get?

Did LSU's defense even force a third down on UGA's or Alabama's winning drives?

3 times in less than 10 games is a trend.

Yup, and against the three best teams we've played. The offense and defense had their chances to basically end the game and both failed.
It's happened in other games, but we've gotten out with a win. Like I said, Ole Miss is the only game where either side sacked up and won the game. Bama, Clemson, UGa all did what we could not.

Very frustrating. Had the Auburn game gone on another 5 min, it too would have had that kind of ending.

scoring 41 pts and losing is not acceptable defense.
end of story.
