Good for him. I'm sick of these idiots on the Rant who don't understand/care about the rules and integrity of the program. All future and former players have to play by them. Live within the confines, work hard and hopefully reap the benefits.

...my take is most folks agree with the year ban. I really dont see that as throwing integrity out of the window.

I agree with this. He seemed quite humble his freshmen year. He let the HB nickname and stardom go to his head.

Just wondering why he came out so strongly against Mathieu. Although it is possible that he knows something we didn't.

Exactly!! Those ex players hear what we dont hear, there is a reason for his position..

Thought this was Jarvis Landry at first. I though, damn, that's bold.

Which one do you think will have a better NFL career?

Interesting stuff from Landry. Although he admits he had a better support system than Mathieu. Maybe he is smarting from being ignored repeatedly.

Or maybe he's just telling it like it is.

yeah...people just don't understand there is more than meets the eye here. Agreed. As you know, or probably do, they did bring in several former players to talk to TM. Landry is just telling it like it is, and TM knows it as well.

How is that a third hand story when I was told by someone who was there? It was worthless for me to post that anyway because obviously on the rant any information you have has to be backed up by a link or you will get crucified. That's besides the point......the only issue I have is that Laron is calling out TM7 for smoking weed when he also smokes. I agree with what he is saying in the article that Mathieu needs guidance but for him to offer it just seems kind of ironic

teach me grandpa

giving up 25 yard completions then teabagging the wr for 10 seconds cause you think you made a hard hit doesnt really help your team. he had 2 good plays against Bama QBs on blitzes and thats pretty much his entire lsu highlight
