Lane's assessment of talent is fantastic

Look at who he brought over from ole miss:
Prince - beast
Watkins - effort issues but clearly a highly talented WR
Dottery - Has been better than I ever anticipated and really stepped up after the Weeks injury
Then look at his portal pickups:
Leavitt - Missed the spring and got a late start. Leads almost every QB stat in the SEC
Seaton - Been everything as advertised
Benefield - Huge part of the defense
Dilin Jones - Best running back we've had since maybe Lenny
I'm sure there's others I'm missing but man can this guy see talent.

Hes good bit there were others after LF7.

Jones is my kind of back, but the CEH snub is a little much.
Guice is realistically probably the best LSU running back ever, we just can’t talk about him lol.

He plays like 2018 CEH without the crazy cutting ability. Jones has the same narrative going this season that people said before 2019. “Not explosive enough. Not a home run hitter” blah blah blah. His style is perfect for moving the chains.
