I think it’s naive to think ESPN gives the SEC zero input on its time slot decisions.
I suspect ESPN makes the final call, but I am willing to bet the SEC could easily pull strings for certain games if they wanted it.
2:30 for bama was definitely a decision.
Hopefully they will have no choice for Texas as that will be their biggest game regardless that weekend.
