Actually, it's full blown LSUDS. It's been brewing for a while but is now full fever pitch.

I watched the clip posted on the news board and wouldn’t consider that a hit piece. Howard, McAfee and Davis have a simplified, naive and/or biased view of it. The coach should stay with his team.

College football is now about movement. Anyone connected to it can change their circumstances. That is what CLK, Matt Campbell, et al just did. You can take issue with how that gets executed from sloppy on the Kiffin end to well done on the Campbell end. In the end the result is still the same in changing teams.

It’s wild that they can’t see the difference in Kiffin not coaching Ole Miss and Sumrall coaching Tulane.

Bro…. One is an in conference rival, a permanent opponent.

There could be a little ego there too from the OM side. But not saying I would not be totally pi**ed if we were in their shoes.

The funny thing is that the narrative was "how can he abandon his playoff team?!?" When other coaches did it, they switched up the narrative to say "to a rival".

Well he did back out of the interview after Rece Davis said they were going to ask him fair but tough questions.

Can’t imagine Lane Kiffin backing out of Gameday for public opinion. We have a long way to go in this years class and this is peak recruiting season. We also have to align a coaching staff still.

Kiffin will go scorched earth on Reece Davis next season at Gameday and Reece won’t be able to argue from his position at ESPN. Will be must see TV for Gameday at LSU next year when they interview him.

Hold on….what about Saban’s talking point that he let Kirby stay on staff when Kirby was going to Georgia while preparing for the national title game against Clemson? As Coach said: there’s a way to do it if you’re professional about it. Where were the media vaginas during that situation? The hypocrisy is ridiculous. I’ll listen to the guy on the panel that has accomplished more than anyone there by a long shot.

If I were Sabin, I would’ve just asked all of them the same question “how many of you have ever been in this position on this panel?” And then follow up with I have and you have no clue as to what you’re saying. In the fricking conversation.

Saban has been on all sides of this, not just pondering it from a high chair like the others. They asked a question not because they wanted his input and experience. They asked it because they wanted to spout their nonsense. It was disrespectful imo.
