But it sounds like the national media was.

Stanford Steve alluded to this on the SVP podcast.

That McMurphy had been in the court across the street for 12 hours.
That sankey was in as a witness for three hours.
That finebaum had mentioned that the thousand people that he had talked to about it. Were tired of it.

It’s almost as if Lane knew this was going to be a great distraction for the media.

He wasn’t tired of it, he was in emBoldened by it.

Hell it even took away from the JD5 situation. We don’t even know or care about that anymore.

I’m not saying that Lane is Brer rabbit. But the media, AND Clemson look like they all got dragged for for two weeks.

And that Lane knew it was over by halftime. The national media and Clemson bit on the hook and lane his team just avoided it all week.

The media even mentioned the two hour rain delay, and how the media were talking about it so much. this crowd was not deterred. Lane was not affected by it.

I don't think it's thst deep. It's just things thst happened to coincide. It wasn't planned.

I can agree that it was not planned.
But that while the distraction was going on,

He told them how to eat from what was being fed to them. They ate well, and everyone else spent too much time bitchi g about it. Including Dabo. He said it was all embarrassing.

You think, maybe that clip was played in the locker room?

I think Kiffin feeds off controversy. He seems immune to the circus around him.

The real truth is the media are complete morons and made it a way bigger deal than it actually was. Especially internally.

I don’t give 2 shits when brainwashed people of other fan bases bash LSU.

It pisses me off that media are so damn disingenuous though. Sports media are no better than political media.

They keep saying Kiffin creates drama and loves drama. When in truth there was never any drama to be had. There was a unique situation where some players should be eligible and he went after it. He never talked shite , never said frick you guys I’m doing it whether you like it or not. Media made him and LSU the bad guys for clicks.

I think you said it better than I did in five paragraphs.

Okay, yea, I definitely think they leaned into it and used it to their advantage.

Pulled to old rope a dope on them.
