Everyone doesn't do it, no, but it also isn't unique to LSU. I've definitely heard other teams do it

I personally don't think you should change any word of the National Anthem no matter the reason or event.

Huh, different generations I guess. I grew up in the 90's and I always say it. I even say it in my head at non Lsu events
