Sucks to lose talent but LSU is bringing in 2 elite tackles in this class and the path to starting in 2025 just got a little bit easier for them.

The character issue came to surface because he chose not to play in the bowl game BEFORE he chose to enter the transfer portal. That looks to me like he wanted to stay at LSU and thought he had some leverage. I wouldn't have had a problem if he determined that he didn't want to be at LSU and entered the portal after the regular season. But that's not what he did. That's what Marlon Martinez did and you don't see him getting trashed in this forum.

Well that LT for Alabama is about the worst OLineman I have ever seen Alabama play. He was huge but pathetic. that's where I predict Heard will land and yes I do think Saban has been in his ear. Smart move....hurt LSU and improve your offense.

Eh calling it character issues might not be the right term but a history of impulsive/questionable decision making is absolutely an appropriate take on him and his inner circle. This goes back to high school and even junior high. Dude bounced around between at least 3 different football programs in junior high to high school. He hasn’t stated anywhere for more than 2 years since elementary school. The chances of him lasting that long at this next stop can’t be better than 50%.
