There is zero chance of this happening. Zero.

Matt Millen is no longer drafting.

But in all seriousness, most teams feel they can get a productive WR in rounds 2-4. And for the most part, they are correct.

Come on really?? I think CRabtree is good, but he is definitely NOT Randy Moss. Hell he is definitely NOT Calvin Johnson....

CJ is the one pick that Millen DID NOT eff up! CJ is possibly the best WR in the league despite playing on the shittiest team with one of the crappiest QBs.

Right now Moss is at best 3rd best WR in the league

Megatron and Andre Johnson are tops in the league.

Byrd didn't lose any money coming back, he had one year in CFB. He just failed to earn more.

LaFell will not go in first or second round.
Seriously people look at past few drafts, teams are taking WR's later and later unless there is a sure thing out there.

Crabtree is the only sure thing out there honestly.
Could Lafell hurt himself coming back yes he can, but he can also help himself.
I honestly think only way he should come back is depending on how close he is to graduating.
Going pro is the right move just because of money he can make if nothing else more than a 3rd receiver for a team.

He was 1st-Team SEC last season, and with Green and Jones coming back, he might not make the team next season. I'm not big on getting into the money game and all that stuff, but I think he's already gone about as high as he could go in terms of college accolades, if you want to look at it from that perspective. I'm not sure he has that much to learn--or to prove--in college anymore.

If he stayed another year, wouldn't he pretty much have the third or fourth spot locked up behind Dez, Benn, and Damian Williams?

This year seems to have a lot of variability with guys like Derrick Williams, Harvin, and Maclin. While LaFell is clearly a more traditional receiver, I imagine they will all have better workout times, and they offer the chance of returning kicks.

LaFell's best skill is route-running, but he could get pushed back to the 6th or 7th receiver once the workout warriors have their day.

yea, you

you say half the shite about lafell like you watched him this year, when everyone that knows the slightest bit about football knows lafells one of the best in college football at route running

I've been saying that on this board since the 2nd half of the season.

He put up VERY similar numbers to Crabtree despite his QB throwing less than half the passes that Texas TEch did.

And throw in route running, hands, and all the things that make a good WR, Bryant is at least as good, and I think better, than Crabtree.

You mean like how Craig Davis, who was about half as productive as Lafell, went in the 1st round?
