Yeah and Ruffin Rodrigue goes on radio there slobbering over the ULL Football Program. He’s an idiot, so it really doesn’t matter, but he IS supposed to be an LSU guy.

Look, I’m no ULL fan but I was a student there in the early 70s and that 72-73 team was not only their best team ever but was one of the best teams in the country that year. And that was when UCLA was the king of college basketball.
The issue with that team was they had zero discipline and the weed that they smoked was incredible. Most of them smoked right before games. Add in the big money that Lafayette wheeler-dealers were throwing at them and it was a total shite show.
Had that team been focused on winning they could have easily made it to the Final Four. They were that good.They made the tournament and that was when only 16 teams made it. Coach Shipley had no control over his players.
I know 100% what I am talking about here.

He's a BUSINESS guy and the Lafayette location kicks ads. I'm personal friends with him...there is NO question where his loyalty is.

The issue was they blatantly cheated. Over 100 recruiting violations get the death penalty and regarded as one of the 5 most crooked programs in all sports in NCAA history.
All that and you dont even get to forfeit a NC. Thats a failure in my book..

He owns a high end business in the middle of ULL country so he has to pander to them on the radio to keep that flow of business. He actually thinks most of them are a bunch of whiny wannabes. Let him start drinking in the BR restaurant with his friends and bring up the subject and you will hear how he really feels.

His Lafayette restaurant pretty much prints money, plus his first cousin was the oline coach under Hudspeth so he has good reason to play nice

He went on Dave's show this week and Dave said he agreed with Cody Worsham that it was a lose/lose situation for LSU to schedule ULL in basketball and of course Glenn had to disagree. His twitter is basically a daily LSU bash session. Why does he even cover LSU sports?

Guilbeau works for Gannett which owns the local Lafayette newspaper The Daily Advertiser. His articles are published in this rag and anything anti-LSU is loved by Cajun fans. I live in Lafayette and trust me the hate runs deep here for LSU by hard core Cajun fans.
