Because he knew Mills and could have been linked to the baby trying to survive maybe? Being a suspect means the cops think you are invloved in the crime. Nothing the cops released or they way they handled it pointed towards them thinking La'el was involved
In other words you do not know. I really don't understand your angle on this. Nor do I understand you obsession with arguing it.
In fact I'm disappointed in myself participating in some bizarre debate over it.

so you think police needed him back in baton rouge asap so he could be there for his child? really? police departments don't handle paternity tests for those purposes. that's left to the department of child and family services. my god.

that's very true, but they aren't asked to provide a sample of their dna
So you're saying every white boy on LSU's campus was a suspect during the DTL killings?
Whole lot of suspects.

I just would like to point out some objective clarification:
1) BRPD is possibly clearing his name as a POI in the murder case, the people who have relayed knowledge of something that they heard about did say that it was directly unrelated to this incident.
2) Not being the father doesn't prove anything other than it wasn't La'el's sperm that made her pregnant. As many have pointed out, this doesn't rule out at all La'el's possible mindset of not being sure if he was or was not possibly this child's father. This ending doesn't define that there wasn't previous uncertainty.
3) This independent lie detector test still is a bit ambiguous as none of know the controlled questions that may have been asked. Yes, he may have been asked numerous various formed questions about any involvement or he could have been asked did you murder X... we don't know.
Carry on.

Unable to contradict anything said i see. But that didn't stop you from beating your gorilla chest 5 pages ago like you were instantly proven right. Maybe you are right, but the facts that came to light did little to prove that as of this moment.

So will NFL teams sign him today. What's the holdup now. Seems like he should sign up and start getting ready for ota coming up
Posted on 5/7/15 at 10:01 am to Slapouttiger
I assume he is taking his time picking the best situation for him. I wouldn't bet against Miami, that's for sure.

I am sure NFL teams will sign him now. Collins gets to choose now and will listen to "recruiting" pitches and decide where he wants to go.

Adam Schefter has no mention on his twitter page, but has a million posts about deflate-gate. Fu.. Schefter.

Exactly. With little variation on how much teams can pay him as an undrafted free agent, this is essentially a college-style recruitment with NFL teams, and every team in the NFL is interested. It's entirely up to La'el where he wants to play.
