Reed was a boss.

Came in as a runningback, left as LSU’s all-time wide receiver yardage leader.

That stat lasted through some greats too. Look forward to seeing Nabors leave with it. Kid has been nothing by spectacular.

Idk when the NCAA changed the rule to allow bowl game stats to count. Reed had 14 receptions for 239 yards vs Illinois in the Sugar Bowl and 9 receptions for 96 yards against Georgia Tech in the 2000 Peach Bowl.

Nevermind it started in 2002

So Reed really finished his LSU career with 3336 yards and 190 receptions

He was blocking well the whole play and then right at the end the defender broke away from him and he grabbed him. Was definitely holding.

Yeah. It was “lineman” holding. Clean until the defender pulls away and makes it noticeable.

He’s so damn good he noticed the hold right away…was aggravated…slowed down briefly…then figured he may as well score anyway…ALL against a top 10 defense.

Kyren will be the next superstar for LSU. He averaged 20 yards per catch and had 7 TD catches this year, as the #3 guy.
For the tough guys questioning crying over something like this, frick off. Most of you never played a meaningful down of football in your lives.

Your nuts he is going to easily be our best WR next year if he can stop the drops, which he will with repetitions I believe he will easily overcome

Try Lacy at corner with those inconsistent hands.

Lacy has been doing this all year. Dude is the definition of selfless at a position that is notorious for guys dogging it on plays they aren't targeted.

His hold on the Nabers TD took away enough yardage from Nabers to prevent him from breaking Josh Reed’s career yardage record.

Everyone makes mistakes. Kyren was upset it cost Malik the record. It was nice to see him care that much about his teammate. Great respect to him for that.

I am willing to bet your going to be preaching his praise next year he is good has all the tools fast, great routes, strong, great blocker, breaks most arm tackles, has zero issue taking back seat in the pecking order at wr played hard every time he was in, just inconsistent catching it will be fixed next year.

I would imagine Lacy is grateful for being at LSU compared to ULL and willing to do what it takes and wait his turn.

“If he can stop the drops”

Exactly. Has elite receiver size, speed and athleticism but does not have elite hands or he has nerves when the ball is in the air.

Either way, a lot of guys like this end up at corner. NFL receivers can’t drop the ball.

NFL cb’s can

If he comes back, which I hope he does.

Lacy is a senior. He has the Covid freebie, but many on here seem to think he's a sophomore or something.
