Wouldn't shock me. Bertman is the one that wanted to play all of the in-state games, just like he did in baseball. He's gone now, and so are those games. Not a big surprise there, in my opinion.

ollowing that game, LSU cancelled the following LSU/Tech matchups for the next couple years. Perhaps this due to the same reason why Tech won't play ULM...because LSU is risking too much with no gain to play Tech. Just throwing it out there...

Bottom line is Tech is still undefeated...all of our games are a shoot out essentially and yesterday's score didn't surprise me.
We are now past one of the biggest challenges in our schedule this year with only one more major game to be concerned over. If Tech can win out and bust the BCS, it would be huge for us...keeping my fingers crossed!

So quick to post! Too bad I didn't run my mouth about LSU's game last night...I mean, LSU definitely pulled off the upset over Towson and definitely looked like a top five team in the country! I am sure every school on the schedule is terrified to have to play the Tigers this year.

If Tech wins next weekend and LSU loses Tech will probably be ranked higher at this time next week. That is a very possible scenario. It's frustrating seeing ULL, ULM, and Tech all have offenses light years ahead of LSU
