Does ULM play Tech this year? That would be a great game IMO.

We (ULM) may get to play them in the New Orleans Bowl if each can win their conference. Welcome to their world of disillusion. Almost as bad as the penis envy ULL has for LSU.

Thanks DMC...at least your post shows some decent respect for the Tech program. Of course, we don't have the money, facilities, conference affiliation, etc. But thanks for not dogging the team, I would like to say that Tech is better than UNT, Idaho and could keep a close game with Washington and maybe win...

Our team this year is progressive better than over the last few years and glad to see we are moving to CUSA. The WAC was a bad move in the first place.

I would rather see a Tech team appreciated by LSU fans by being from LA and non-conference affiliated. LSU can win the SEC and Tech can win CUSA...we would have LA dominance across the board.

I know I was happy for ULL last year...trust some of you were happy for them as well? Oh well...

If Tech can maybe beat a team that LSU crushed what is this whole thread about?

At the most basic level, this already happens.

But when your fans want to engage in a dick measuring contest with LSU and start comparing Tech's success and national prominence just because you beat a lower tier Big Ten team this season, I'll be the first to say you have a looooong way to go (pun intended).

Every year the puppies from Ruston start this shite. Yet each time we play them it's not a contest.

Even in '09 when we were in a Jefferson induced malaise and will Lee subbing for JJ and struggling with his confidence, the game was never in doubt.

Poor LaTech, like USL they want to be relevant and are still just ignored.

There are idiot fans throughout the country and affiliated with all schools...and I can't be responsible for one person or a group of fans.

Still love my Tigers and my Bulldogs...in any case if they play, I would hate to see LSU lose, but if their number is up, then I would rather see my Bulldogs do it than an SEC rival. Not that I think Tech could definitely do it, but you never know...crazier things have happened.

But I agree, the two football programs are on completely different tiers and there is no reason to talk smack or compare the two...reasonable people should know that though IMO.

Dooley put the kabosh on that match-up when he was at Tech. It was really a stupid move. That would be a great home and away game each season. It could be a great rivalry again and put people in the stands.

Tech for Undergrad
LSU for MBA

LSU 42
Tech 24

Our offense might score but LSU would dominate the game and this is the best Tech team since Tim Rattay played there.
