1959, 1960 and 1962 they were national champs.
There is more wine produced in The Hill
Country than any other part of the country besides Napa Valley.

4 of us, hope to find tickets there. Anyone recommend a bar to see Alabama -Auburn then walk to the game?
Looking for 4 tickets
Live here in Texas now and haven't seen the tigers in a few years and certainly want to enjoy the meltdown in college station!
Lot of baseball left, time to grow a sack keyboard bandits.
I burn over 900 calories avg in an hour at Orange Theory. No it isn't a gym, but it certainly isn't a gimmick center.
Terrible post, ULM Is in town this week.

the hard top issues are strictly cosmetic and Ford is automatically sending a new hard top to owners as soon as they are manufactured. Not a big deal
yes, I recommend them. I have recoil shafts in my 7 year old apex irons. Never thought I'd switch from steel and will now never go back.

The driftwood course is going to be a massive, upscale PUD. It is still under construction (still moving dirt for the roads)
I live here in the drip/driftwood area. Played all of them. If you are talking strictly just golf, Valaar Creek is my favorite course. Pros: Lots of hills, challenging well groomed layout and very quiet out there. cons: Doesn’t have a clubhouse bar, just a covered snack shop area with hot dogs/sandwiches to eat. Kissing Tree is my 2nd favorite. Well maintained and forgiving, wide fairways. Has an awesome bar in middle of development (it is a Troon golf development) and the real estate side was developed by the folks that put Atlantis in the Bahamas together. The snack shop at the turn is really cool and worth stopping in to see all the photos on the wall. You can’t go wrong at Grey Rock either. Course is good, usually well maintained and has a nice bar too. It doesn’t have as many of the hill country elevation changes like the other courses do. I also like The Bandit, located about 30-40 miles south of Austin. Quicksand in Wimberly is a step down in quality in every way, but I do think it is fun and a value course for about half the cost of the others. Greens have plenty of undulation challenges and there are plenty of elevation changes too. There also is a cool driving range called "Dripping Springs Country Club" that has top tracer and a liquor license.
Thanks for putting together a fun day RummelTiger! What were the final scores? I posted 14pts on the front, had a couple of fireball shots around the turn and limped in with only 4 pts on the back. Weak!! Looking forward to next year!
Paul Allen and I rode together. He got streaky and smoked a few drives for sure! no cheatin (i kept score)
Hey Scuba Blake,
i live off of sawyer ranch (about 10 mins east of Dripping Springs)
moved here last year from Dutchtown.
didn't know him, just thought it was classless. rant on
damn, do you not have any decency, dude just passed, lay off man

typical UT response. I live here in the austin area and am so glad not to be associated with your condescending people.
Why the Austin hate? From a born and raised Louisianian, i moved 25 mins west of Austin about a year ago. Have you ever been here, this place is the fastest growing city in America for a good reason.
This attitude towards covid-19 guidelines is exactly why Louisiana has such a high death rate from this. Either you don't care about others (or yourself) or you are just ignorant of any of this, which is unlikely. So sad to see these kinds of post.
two from my family will be there. We need to start looking for tickets
You sound like an arrogant Gomer Pyle. Thanks for letting us college educated folk down on the bayou know what digress means. WOW
