Through 3 batters, they’ve thrown 9 fastballs and 1 curve. 2 weak pop ups and a hard line drive that could, possibly should, have been an out, even though it was very well hit.
Then we argue for interference, don’t get it, but do succeed in slowing the game a bit more and possibly killing momentum after a big double

Yeah he wasn't getting to 3rd anyway, but the guy was in a rounded path to 2nd, not in the direct baseline. You can't predict the arc a guy will take rounding.
