He hasn't pitched Vietmeier in anything but midweek games why not let him go till he really struggles this game then go to Gervase.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a pitcher throw 37 straight fastballs....and only throw half of them for strikes

maybe if he could throw 98+ and only threw to three batters max. The fact this kid was a weekend starter is mind blowing

I haven't seen someone throw 37 fastballs in a row since a 9 year old game at Budgie's American Legion off GSRI

He did the same thing against Texas and had a 50/50 ball to strike ratio basically and there were some people that thought it was a good idea to have him as a starter going into SEC play
