I hate how people on this board just give up on players. They feel like players have to produce in the first few games or they never will their whole careers. I saw this kid play in high school. I am not giving up on him yet at receiver.

Yeah, we don't have enough safeties. I guess if it weren't for his exceptional precise route running ability, outstanding hands, and his fearless ability to catch over the middle, he might be a candidate for converting to defense. I didn't see the Oregon game on TV (was at the game), but I heard Musberger commented "welcome to big time college football" when Landry got drove by a linebacker over the middle.
