Not sure what the speed limit is there.

Someone posting here said that they drive that route — maybe they can answer what the limit is there — as far as I heard it wasn’t said in the video.

It’s not hard to locate with all the police cameras and license plate readers everywhere!

I’d bet lsp knew who was driving that green charger quick then they all got a hard on to nail Kyren!

People online have gone from saying he caused the accident to now claiming he pretty much had nothing to do with it. Crazy.

His attorney did his job — presenting things in a way that made it seem like it wasn’t Lacy’s fault. But the full details of the accident and all the witness statements haven’t been released.

Wouldn't you like to see everything before making up your mind?

I think Funyun panicked and made a split second decision to dodge left into the Hall vehicle that she didn't see/know was there.

It kind of reminds me of the La’el Collins situation from a ruining his draft status standpoint. Lacy was basically radioactive to NFL teams and it turns out the whole thing was made up by the cops. I’m not really sure you can sue the cops? Don’t they have some immunity?

Your comparison to La’el Collins is what I had thought about as well.
As for the cop being sued, there are a number of layers of protection that normally prevent a LEO from personal liability. But, whatever governing body a LEO works for can certainly be held liable. Over the years, City of Baton Rouge has paid out a hefty amounts just to avoid having to go to trial.

The coerced witness statements seem RIPE for a lawsuit.

He was emotionally unstable by definition. Rumored to have been involved in a few more things that were being investigated. Maybe he was innocent, maybe not, but to run from cops and then blow your brains out, he obviously had issues.

Why does everybody lack any common sense. The video doesn't prove his innocence. You CAN in fact cause an accident being behind the accident... by driving in the oncoming traffic Lane and causing people ahead to swerve and wreck. People are fing brain dead.

2 things can both be true in this situation and can portray different meanings.
As you said, You CAN in fact cause an accident being behind the accident... by driving in the oncoming traffic Lane.
If can also be said the crash was in front Lacy ……by his driving in the oncoming lane of traffic.

Its 40MPH. Its a stretch between a church in a big curve and a school where the speed limit drops and a no passing zone comes into effect.

He would have been passing from the church side moving south coming out of that curve.

It was a head-on collision. Everyone is "behind" the accident, and everyone is "in-front" depending on perspective. This is what happens when you allow a personal injury lawyer to present his case on air with no judge, no rebuttals, and no standards.

You got stupid and emotional people gobbling up the bait. Attorney makes some decent points that the story was misportrayed in some ways and there was clearly questionable investigative issues at hand. But it ain’t so clear cut he makes it

Is that in the video? I saw the green charger moving at a slow speed several seconds behind the wreck in the same lane as the lady that caused the wreck . Is there another video?

Qualified immunity. Which needed to be gone yesterday. Have them purchase liability insurance like the rest of us.

You cant see it in the video, but the Charger was moving south in the wrong lane coming out of a blind curve making an illegal pass (according to witnesses). So the lady who swerved, driving north bound, would have seen the Charger coming at her head-on about 70-100 yds out.
I know people are emotional about this, but the video doesn't disprove the original witness reports in any way.

At a high rate what video did you watch he slows down then passes slowly you idiot!
I think the misconception many are having is what's not seen here.

It sounds like people are saying Kyren was passing traffic at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone in the moments (not seen) leading up to the video.

And that him being in the other lane (passing traffic) caused someone in their lane to swerve and try to avoid him which caused the accident on the video.

This all happened in front of Kyren. Then we see Kyren reach the point of the accident and go around (causing people to think he had nothing to do with it).
