I would hope so. Any college player that hits their ceiling prior to playing pro ball will be a limited player. Give credit where it's due and quit trying so hard, baw.

You mean players are better when its their job and aren't restricted to 20 hours a week practice with coaches? Na.

Hunter def underperformed.

Only to the uninformed.

The guy had 70 tackles his last year. He completely shut down his side against the run. He had 13 tfl,6pd,and a ff.

The only people that think he underperformed are people that think sacks are all a de is supposed to do.

Ill take 70 tackles,13tfl, 1.5 sacks
Over 35 tackles 8 sacks and 13tfl.

Its far more rare for a lineman to have 70 tackles than a lineman to have 8-9 sacks.

Can't upvote this enough. I'm really shocked about Collins but I'm actually happy for him. Wish he would have come here but he chose the bumps.

It really seems like our players do better than players from other colleges in the NFL. We have to use this in our recruiting and I'm sure we do. Who is the last non QB from LSU.to go to league and be a bust? I can't think of any. I can see the argument that it just seems that way because they are players from "our team". But even taking a step back you realize just how much talent we put out there, especially from the Miles era. Hope it continues under Coach O and his staff.

Can we all agree that Spencer Ware looks like a completely different back?

Not sure if you know how this works, but that's a good thing if they're better in the NFL.

None of them would have improved if they were drafted by that sideshow in New Orleans led by the "genius" who dislikes every player from LSU and is trying to avoid his fourth straight losing season...WHAT A JOKE. In fact, Heisman Trophy winners regress under Sean, aka Bush and Ingram. Hopefully Peyton will continue on his strategic plan to never draft LSU players so they can continue to flourish with opponents who whip his arse and have prosperous NFL careers.

Every player that makes it to the NFL will become better than they were in college. This is an obvious statement. More practice and no other responsibilities.

Kwon was a stud. Had some injuries and held him back from blowing up

Debo needed time to develop. Maybe could have played sooner but he wasn't ready early in his career.

Hunter a product of lazy DL coaching. Dude was a freak and never improved in the slightest.
