And the rest of the team for believing in BK and JD5 this year.

Nobody quit, even if they knew they’d have better numbers with Nuss.

Thank you WRs and all Tigers this year!

Kinda crazy to think how much money Boutte lost because of this offense. He flashed again and the talent is still there. Can't believe we had games where he only got 1-3 targets.

Kayshon did plenty on his own to lose money

Season TDs:

Nabers - 2
Boutte - 2
Bech - 1
Taylor - 2
Lacey - 0

Malik Nabers and Kayshon both doubled their TDs on the season last night when they caught 1 TD pass. Blame whoever you want but that's a gross under use of talented players.

Les Miles would look at those numbers and say, "There is a need for a want to get better."

In regular American English, that translates to, "Damn. That's awful."

If you go back and watch some of the sky cam replays, you'll see just how open Boutte and some of our wide outs were while JD5 was scrambling or being sacked. It's tough to watch.

The amount of posters that accept this as satisfactory is nauseating.

That number is from before the Florida game lol. He hasn’t had more than a couple drops since then.

Honestly curious - what's his targets and drops on the year? I don't know the raw numbers?

Fake stats, he had 62 targets before yesterdays game and had at least 7-8 targets in the game.

This is a liiiiiiiiittle deceptive seeing as though Jaray had 6 TDs and Thomas had 4, and those are the two tall guys who you'd throw it to in the red zone.

The real issue isn't so much touchdowns but chunk plays, and that was the biggest issue for LSU's offense this year. Not enough vertical stretching of the field.

Either Jayden has to get better at driving it on the downfield routes, or he moves on and it's Nussmaier's turn. I would say that's a good problem to have, though - we're talking about trying to improve on a QB with a rating of better than 140, a TD-interception ratio of 16-3 and more than 1,000 gross rush yards. It's not like the offense is terrible.
