This is why I don’t like any of this. This is the America we live in today. I’m white and I’ve had the same scenario play out. It pissed me off at the time but I didn’t go whine to social media. I didn’t cry racism or profiling even though it was a black cop who pulled the gun on me. I simply cooperated and left after I was cleared.
The media and false narrative of racism being rampant is an epidemic. Are there pockets of racists? Of course. But video and social media has made it easy to spread false narratives without the risk of backlash.
