This is interesting for me as a white guy. I recognize many blacks have a different experience with regard to law enforcement. What was the circumstance of your interaction? Was there any reason this should have occurred? For instance, were you mistaken for someone else? I’m not being condescending at all - it’s just that is really difficult for me - who admittedly shares a different experience than you - to imagine cops pulling a gun on you for no reason other than your race. I’m in no way saying it didn’t occur, just interested in your experience.

How can you love LSU football...who recruit the top black players in the nation and not understand that black people are stereotyped and marginalized at a disproportionate rate than other races. Yes there are some kids who commit crimes who play college football but no officer should come into any interaction with any preconceived notions.
