Kling

This season was a total disappointment for him. He had every opportunity to get it going, and never did.

Unless Kling has a batting epiphany in the off-season, JJ is going to have to do some hard thinking about his future with LSU.

He is terrible. And CJJ should kick himself.

The AB itself was inexcusable.

He's free swinging against a guy who was struggling to find the zone like he's Tommy White.

against a LH with 2 outs. Yeah no

With the exact same results as Kling. So what's the point of not trying?

I didn't understand why Milazzo got benched for tonight. You had your weakest pitching and you're sitting your best catcher?

He’s injured

There was nobody left to put in the outfield, he had to hit

Milazzo to C, Neal to RF

Both preferable to Kling batting in bottom of the 9th

I thought Bingham would have pinch hit and Kling should have pinch run..

Should have pinch run someone other than Bingham for Travinski at first there.

This is the real answer. Nip should’ve run

Kling was already in the game he couldn’t pinch run.

Bingham not available as a defensive substitution was inexcusable. He would have caught what Brown dropped.

Not trying to rail on the guy, but if he’s not a good enough hitter to start, he’s not a good enough hitter to run out there in the bottom of the 9th

Any at bat he had after the halfway point of the season is inexcusable. I don’t remember another player at LSU that needed a HBP so badly to get on bc his bat was so weak.

Great athlete but he took playing time away from others that could’ve done some good.

I think Kling could still be a good player. This is not to shite on him, but he hasn’t shown you much at the plate for the better part of 2 seasons. That’s a bad spot to have him hit and Monday Morning QB’ing this thing, seems like a mismanagement of everything that lead to it

Plenty of other mistakes and missed opportunities tho

Kling is a fine outfielder, but he's overwhelmed by top flight pitching. He should consider a change of scenery to a less stressful atmosphere in the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast.

Wish Kling would have gone to RF and Brown stay in CF

We had to, he came in as a defensive sub when we had the lead

In hindsight - that didn’t work out too well.
