That dude couldn’t hit last year, so not sure what was expected to change so drastically?

He hit several balls hard this weekend

Still, he hasn’t been good enough

Turns out Mr Pennsylvania baseball may be the equivalent to the 25th best player in LA, and 18 out of those 25 aren't even offered by LSU

Playing high school baseball in Pennsylvania is a lot different. No seeing the type of arms that kids down south see.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the volume of quality players coming out of Louisiana.

Well that's my sign to take a break lol.
If anyone knows baseball recruiting, it's Project. I'm bowing out

Pissed, and slightly inebriated, and before I show more of my arse, I'll collect myself and try again tomorrow

Bleacher Report MLB players by state 2022
27 Pennsylvania players in 2022 and 16 for Louisiana in that year. I apologize for the 2 year old data. It was a quick google search. I realize it doesn’t tell the whole story, but Pennsylvania has 13 million people they must have some talent in the state.

This is kind of ironic considering our best pitcher this year is from...

checks notes...

Pennsylvania

I know he's struggling this year but the name calling is unnecessary.

He hit .289 last season. He had a nagging hamstring injury, if memory serves me, so it is reasonable to expect a small jump at least which would have him near .300.

And he is our best defensive outfielder.
