There is a reason Kling won the starting job 2 years in a row. AND there is also a reason he lost the starting job last year, and started this season in the 9 hole.

He does not have elite bat skills to be a leadoff, like a Mike Koerner, Jason Williams, Theriot, or even a Milam. Keep him 8th or 9th, and let him see fastballs until he proves he can be consistent. I think he can do it. Let’s see.

W/o breaking down his stance/swing, ill go ahead and agree he will be one of 5/6 players who wont hit .300 in the SEC this year.

Actually only Jay makes a million (and a half)

The assistants don’t make anywhere close to a million. If you added up all their salaries it might be a million.

I remember when you could have substantive discussions on TD Now it’s full of college kids who just come on to feel better about LSU sports They don’t make em like they used to

Well I am old enough to remember when people had skin thick enough to accept that they were wrong.

Guess you are right, they don’t make them like they used to.

The entire point of that post you quoted was that nobody posted much substantive discussion, so how on earth could someone have been proven right or wrong

I’m saying he’s not the type of player you think he is. He’s very average. I do not see him in the starting lineup the whole year

He’s rated the 103rd draft eligible prospect in 2025. He’s very average? My gosh.
