There’s nothing disingenuous about what I said. I don’t think you know what that word means

This is what I said last night; there are no true options to replace him. People have bitched about Bingham too.

It’s always the dudes afraid to give a take that try & stir up some shite. Like I didn’t say exactly that

Stevenson turned it on late in his career at LSU. I remember when he was batting like .190 or something

That was his freshman year. He followed that up with back to back years of 0.335 and then 0.348 as a junior.

His sophomore he lead the team in BA and was hitting 0.435 leading into SEC play.

You are right, everyone thought Bingham should bat leadoff. That’s my b

Not everyone thought that. Most suggested Milam at the leadoff spot, but he isn't playing today. I'll go on the record and say I don't think Bingham should be leadoff either if that's what you want.

Hits like freshman Stevenson, but after an all-nighter in Tigerland

Stevenson figured out the plate after his freshman season.

He's tied with Milam for the 4th best OBP%...or 3rd if you don't want to count Kucherak who leads the team but isn't a starter and only has 5 ABs

And he's 3rd on the team in RBIs, more than Tommy White
What's his batting average? Also, what's his average with runners in scoring position? Right now, a true freshman should be starting in front of him. He couldn't hit last year and still can't hit this year. His defense can be replaced easily. All those "other stats" you mention like it's what really matters doesn't. Why? Because those stats you mentioned can be replaced also. His BA and BA w/ runners in scoring position cannot. Thats because those stats are on him and there are simply better players on the team.

This isn’t really a hot take or even an argument. Milam could hit leadoff, then someone has to hit second. You are still in the same boat where you need a similar profile to fill that 2 hole spot. It’s not really a solution.

Jay Johnson just said that besides Tommy White and Jared Jones, he feels like most of the team is close to the same and interchangeable. Just an FYI

Kling is more like Jared Foster. Really tooled players in terms of speed, arm, and power. But inconsistent at the plate.
