I hope he has a speedy recovery. It’s time for the next man to step up! We are LSU.

I know I may get down votes for saying this, but when it happened I blamed O for taking his foot off the gas so early, causing him to put the defensive starters back in the game. And I’m not an O hater looking for an excuse to bash him.

Per CEO re: Replacing Chaisson

Ray Thornton can play both sides. Andre Anthony, Travez Moore, and Jarrell Cherry will likely play Saturday and coaches will evaluate them for going forward

Are the coaches high on any of these mentioned?

Is Ross incenuating that we should've pulled out our best players in a two score game against a top ten opponent with 6 minutes left? That's absurd!

Terrible loss. I hate playing on turf

What sucks even more is that it's was practically garbage time. We don't get the face mask penalty to extend a TD drive on 4th down or LSU holds on to the INT in the end zone and it's 100% game over well before Chaisson gets injured.

Sucks for the kid and his team mates. Seems like LSU ALWAYS gets hit hard with injuries and or suspension between the start of camp and the end of the first few games.

They were already out when it was 33-3. Then Miami scores twice and O had to put the starters back in because we stopped trying to score.

Not sure - he didn't talk about it too long. It sounded like Jarrell Cherry popped into his head after he listed the others and he mentioned he was a freshman. Maybe subconsciously is high on Cherry?

As others have said, Chaisson cannot be easily replaced, but I'm hopeful these other guys will step up. Feel bad for #4 but that's just how it goes sometimes.
