just said that LSU isn't doing anything differently on offense. According to them LSU is just playing with more passion.

Do these fools do any research whatsoever?

I agree with them. I dont think we switched up much but we are playing with more passion.

I know! What a fool. Obviously didn't look too hard! Just throwing to the tightends several times a game is a huge change!

From O's mouth... they are running the same plays. Just changed the play calling strategy to open up the field and get less predictable.

So you can say they are running the same offense and be correct but no way are they doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result...

LSU has clearly been running plays out of different looks than the first four games. Yes, it's the same offense, but it's clearly being opened up and run differently. It's more than just passion.

They're running a pro style offense but you're a moron if you don't think their doing something different. So much more early down passing and shots down the field.

That's not what they said though. They specifically said that LSU is doing nothing different on offense.

I saw that and had to rewind ... Meh, still not getting any respect.
Luckily for us we have plenty chances to rectify that.

Attacking through the air in 3rd and 4th quarter when up by more than 10 points, involving the TEs, not eating grass

This was a very typical strategic setup contrarian segment for TV

These guys just haven't really looked up and seen what we are doing with formations and play calling. Yes. Same playbook. But obvious use of a different strategy

They are less predictable by personnel.

Before they would only run about 3 plays with each personnel package.

Now they run more plays with their base personnel by moving the full back and tight ends around.

This is also why they are getting plays off faster. Less personnel changes from play to play.

And the players.

With the caveat that they only used them in practice time. Not is games. So there is that little gem.

I'll never understand why Les didn't do more of this. It's not like we needed an Oregon type offense. These few small changes have immediately made us relevant in college football again.

Y'all have got to stop getting worked up over contrived TV arguments.

Or, better yet, do what I do and only watch live sports on ESPN.

Do these fools watch any games? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that defenses only have 7 in the box when we opened up the passing game, whereas with Les, they had 8-9 men in the box 99% of the time. Ridiculous.

That'd definitely quality as a difference.
