I know O and Kiffin are long time friends. What do think Kiffin thinks about the dumpster fire we have going on?

I don’t see him coming to LSU if something happens to O.

He would easily take this job if offered to him. That friendship is a little more orgeron being his friend that vice versa

I would be happy to have him. The arrow is pointing up at Ole Miss for sure. Still can’t get over how we got so bad so quick.

Lane wants a championship. He’s going somewhere to do that. Or at least have a chance to. Book it.

Best thing 2019 did was show almost anyone can do it here.

Kiffin has been dancing all over Orgeron's grave over the last few weeks.

He even said that they are going to wear "sissy blue" uniforms when Ole Miss plays LSU.

Better question is, do you think Kiffin could get Orgeron to be his defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator?

I can't see how that would work when LSU will be settling with O on his buyout.

The math is extremely simple. Mississippi has a smaller population and less wealth than Louisiana. Then take that smaller pie and then split it in 2 (maybe not in equal halves, but close enough), and that’s what you have at Ole Miss. And there is nothing short of a seismic population shift that no one currently sees on the horizon that will change this. They are stuck where they are.

LSU doesn’t have this problem and it’s a big reason why we have a more successful and accomplished athletic department, especially over the last 30 years. Lane is a lot of things, but stupid isn’t one of them. If he didn’t take this job, it would be to hold out for another position to leave Ole Miss for. They are just a stepping stone for him. But I don’t think he would pass.

Kiffin would walk to Baton Rouge to take the LSU job. Then all you youngsters would be introduced to how Florida looked in the 90s with Spurrier.

A coworker of mine who’s a big Bama fan and I were taking about O’s precarious situation today. He asked who LSU would likely try to hire if O is let go and I said Kiffin would be very high on the list. He immediately shook his head and said he never wants to see that happen. He knows exactly what that would mean for Bama within 2 seasons.
