I heard that earlier in the week too but tonight it's come out that a 25m nil budget has been approved.

This was my thought. Reason why this was leaked was because AZ St is being cheap and Dillingham wants NIL to work with. This was calculated to essentially say "Hey this is your roster allotment if you get offered"

Was this golfing and drinking all day 7 days a week or are you exaggerating?

I think someone would have noticed if he was never at his office and the shite would have hit the fan before TAMU loss.

Asking for a friend.

What part of the bargain didnt he hold up?

"Judge me by year 3"!
We have regressed since with no signs of improvement. With CBK next year, we are most likely looking at more losses. For me personally, he being on the sidelines have sucked out the fun of college football. It's the "way" that we lost games or even win in some.

Did he say my contract or buyout is null and void if I dont do well by year 3?

Correct $25 million PLUS.... that the key word. I'll admit it most likely won't hit $30m, I am thinking around $27m -$28m.

You never know. Maybe ND can celebrate another runner up finish before we win our next title. At least there’s Lacrosse though right?

So does Yale, but there slightly less relevant in modern CFB than Notre Dame!
Congrats on ND’s historical significance in the mid to late 20th century and for being my late grandmother’s favorite team in the 1950’s!

Just because you have a high NIL budget doesn’t mean you’re going to be successful. A lot of these kids will get the money and lose the motivation.

That’s why you instill a culture of physicality. It can be done, look at Georgia

$90 million for Kiffin (or a reasonable facsimile) - $ 25 million for NIL

So does this mean LSU will be among the top five programs in collegiate football with the best damn strong football team that money can buy.

Now you tell me LSU is working out an agreement with Air Jordan.

Clearly after the BK disaster - LSU is putting the "Brand" back together.
