Why do people keep making these stupid fricking threads? "So and so team did such and such which is much better than LSU!!!!" We get it, the LSU men's basketball program is a dumpster fire. This is not new information.

How many years does he need then?

Like I said.

I’m not expecting a sweet 16.

We are done with year 3 and have no reason to expect a ncaa bid next year.

That’s not a problem?

Because people in the AD read this board and they should receive no quarter until the situation is fixed.

Because it’s Kentucky

They had one booster alone who contributed $5M in NIL to this year’s roster

Yeah there's a real comparison between Kentucky and LSU basketball

What about Alabama basketball?

Nate Oats inherited a clusterfrick. Win the SEC his 2nd year.

I'm sure the LSU AD is highly concerned with your opinion and insights.

Yep. With all the blatant stupidity and childlike name calling in here nobody could care what this demographic “thinks’. No way to respect those kind of opinions.

You’re correct. He’s proven he doesn’t care at all about men’s basketball and what the fans are trying to tell him by not showing up. By every appreciable metric LSU has been one of the worst programs among major conference schools since McMahon became HC. They are unequivocally the worst program in the SEC, and he is the worst coach in the league. Yet, despite those glaringly obvious facts the AD has chosen to continue the status quo

Of course, he’s doesn’t actually attend any games so it is entirely possible he doesn’t know how bad the program is.

We’d be in a hell of a lot better situation if they were.

If they aren’t it that is just another in the litany of signs of their idiocy

McMen will say not a fair comparison, etc etc.

BUT, McMahon has had THREE years to show us something, anything to suggest he is capable of success at LSU.

Hey Pilgrim,
One of the dumbasses on here who has made comments about the checkbook. Google search is your friend. April 2018 falls within Wade’s time as head coach at LSU

From ESPN article on his violations - “The NCAA also accused Wade of making payments in April 2018 to an individual who had influence in a prospect's decision on where he would play in college. In exchange for the individual's influence, "Wade directed that payments be made to [the individual] from a bank account in the name of Wade's spouse that Wade and his spouse treated as a joint account."

not really. LSU at least has a decent basketball history unlike Kentucky football which has none

It isn’t too much to expect us to not be a bottom tier basketball school

Feel free to go and read the IARP ruling. It’s public record.

It’s ok though. I sometimes click on the first site that comes up on my internet search too. Hate to ruin your “gotcha” though. Maybe next time

So the condescending tone with a post to set the record straight was just a friendly chime in? Evidently to someone named Pilgrim?

Again, it’s ok. You thought you had “set the record straight”…without looking at the actual record. It happens and can be a good learning experience
