Even the adjustments at half were lights out. Shoutout to those guys on the OL (2 true fr and 2 sophomore). They held their own against a very good defensive line

Each game we've made very good halftime adjustments. That has built my confidence in the team.

Exactly. I said the same thing last night, we lose that game last year. This team is a bunch of fighters and Kelly is installing a mentality of winning here. He’s not afraid to upset people due to the portal. He will put out the best guys regardless.

It helps that the Pirate stupidly went for the first on 4th down deep in the middle of the wrong side of the field multiple times. Dumb.

You can see a team that is improving and taking coaching well. Roster still has some holes to seriously compete this year but if reasonably healthy this team will win some games.

Fixed is a strong word. But it was much better. That OL beats FL ST. But we still couldn't run the ball till after the half. That's not on CBK, he needs time to get better players on the OL and coach them up.

Kelly is an all timer. Hes an elite College Head Coach. I still cant believe LSU snatched him away from Notre Dame. No one ever has done this.
At first, I gave credit to Woodward for closing this deal. But, starting to think Kelly closed Woodward. This guy is the Closer and LSU is the Move!

I always have had faith in BK! He won a 50/50 game on the schedule and beat down a physical defense in the late stages of the game. He is going to be a phenomenal coach for the program in years to come. Good first conference win for the team.

Really happy with the o-line two freshmen, two sophomores, are going to eat in the future. We have big pieces coming in recruiting and can always find a good one in the portal.
Might have the best line in a decade next year. D-line is also stacked with more coming and the best one hurt. This is how you win 90% of your games.

Just imagine what this team will look like in 2024. Walker, two 3 year starters at the tackle spots, Perkins, the DLine class of 2023, two full years of recruiting, 3 full years of offseason work….. holy shite

Kelly is a very good football coach.
