Not that talented as in only 39 scholarship players enrolled? Because that is where Kelly started 2022.

LSU had a great offseason adding players in the portal & in the recruiting class.

The 3 best players on the field tonight: Jayden Daniels- Bernard Converse- Harold Perkins

Lsu added multiple Nfl players in the portal. Stop short changing them

Not only that, but they went to the transfer portal and got Ricks,Steen, and Gibbs.

They weren't getting Garner,Foucha and Wingo. They were supposed to be getting the absolute best at their position.

We may not be less talented for long...a lot of uncommitted recruits were watching that game....Kelly definitely has LSU going in the right direction.....

It ain’t arguable. We are clearly less talented

And yet… we were the better team.

How did this glorious team lose to fsu?

Totally different team that began the year… the QB is more decisive and dynamic, the Oline has more cohesion, and all of the players have improved a lot.

They replay that game with this version of LSU and Florida St gets mudstomped.

Jeez dudes we had home field and were well prepared. No we didn’t have the most talented not with 39 scolly players left in the cupboard. It was a damn ugly game and our players. Just wanted it more. They were inspired and left it all on the field. Our coaches prepared them well and for the most part executed well. Damn proud of them. The Ref’s didn’t disappoint either, they executed the Birmingham bias hanky toss to perfection.

Dont sell our boys short.

Yes, BAMA has more blue chip players, yadda yada....

But, LSUs boys lined up, looked them in the eyes and pushed them around.
Yes, they are well coached, finally!
But those boys flat out, manned up, and pushed them around.

Congrats to all the players and coaches.

I would argue we match talent with the starters but only less in number! That will change with a couple years of recruiting.
