Keeping Bama on the schedule every year is better for the LSU football program.

I'm not trying to over love on Bama here but they are a measuring stick for college football in most cases. I don't like the idea of going around them for any reason.

Anyway its our time with Kelly to get back on Top and give them some yearly beatdowns after Saban finally rides out.

I feel we got our revenge on Florida after the Spurrier years so as much as I hate them and love playing them, I'm ok with taking the Gainesville tour off the schedule.

Also I love Auburn, I grew up in Alabama till I was 10 before my Pop moved us to Louisiana. Bo Jackson is the only actual "idol" I had in my life. I hate losing that game too.

I like keeping A&M for the easy reason that I live in Texas and can go to the games. Also keeps LSU footprint in Texas and great for the recruiting and well it is Texas the greatest state in the Union to play football.

Ole Miss - Glad we keeping it for Historical reasons and I appreciate their program and school overall. It has great football tailgating and higher end people. I'm not that old but still believe History should mean something and they were/are our rival.

Keeping Bama on the schedule is better as they will always be considered a "Great win" as we move forward to the Elite again.

With the expanded playoffs coming, the LSU/Bama game will be used for seeding purposes come playoff time.

It is better for both programs not to be permanent opponents assuming Saban with be around for a while. Both teams almost certainly will make the play offs in the years they don't play each other.

I would rather keep Florida on the schedule and get rid of A&M. We will play A&M and Texas enough through the regular rotation but I want to keep our history with Florida.

Keeping the Gumps is a yearly litmus check of our team. Strength of schedule is important.

This is about entertainment. I love Bama week. I want LSU to play the best. Keep Bama as permanent.

I would be pissed if Bama isn’t a permanent opponent of ours.

You can say what you want about how great Bama has been. But in about three years, Bama will be nothing compared to what they are now.

Why would anyone not want Bama on the schedule?

Tuscaloosa is miles above Gainesville
Florida is an East team
This isn’t the 90’s
Bama is a far more attractive match up.
Did I mention Gainesville is terrible?

There really isn’t one reason I can think of to keep Florida instead of Bama.

Yep. Bama has recruited better than anyone for a long time now yet somehow they definitely look off compared to what they used to be

Kelly is gonna continue to beat them more than not

You do understand as important and fertile of recruiting grounds Florida can be, Texas is at least as good or better and our direct neighbor and competition for players. You cant give up ground here. This is War not a Battle fighting them for recruits so I'm glad we will keep A&M.

Playing a yearly Texas team and developing more of a rivalry with A&M is better for LSU.

And, of course, Little Nicky is bitching about having to play us, Auburn & Tenner every year. He's a fricking crybaby.
