Something is not right. He ran 21.37 200m in high school. Just saying a guy that runs sub 22 sec 200m is a 4.5 kinda guy or better.

What’d he run on the 1st? Your link shows a 4.5 unofficial.

No one will look at the 4.67. He ran a 4.5. That’s his time.

I haven’t had a chance to read the thread, but why in the world didn’t he wait until Pro Day to work out?

So, he preferred the better wr?
Well, yeah. Nabors is damn good and played much better than Boutte did last year. I've said it in this thread numerous times, Boutte is his own worse enemy and made his own bed. At the same time, last years system provided him less targets that in years past. It can be two things.

He ran a 4.5 on his first attempt. His vertical and broad jump were among the worst in the entire WR group.

None of this should be a surprise. Was running in quick sand this year.

Boutte fricked himself
Yes he did. To a lesser degree, he was also the victim of a tough situation. The program was in a shambles and we brought in a new coach with on offense that featured a run centric QB. In hindsight, it worked better than all expectations team wise, but Boutte's production was a casualty.
I’d say he’s partly to blame for JD lacking confidence in the pass game. Just look back to Florida State and Boutte was pouting after 2 plays. Then, he missed game-altering balls as a key target. IMO, JD tried over and over…

Word is he scored off the charts on the Diva test.
Graded out as a A+ Pain in the arse.

You might be surprised to learn that despite your characterization of Boutte being a victim of a run-centric QB, only 4 QBs in LSU history passed for more yards than Daniels in a single season.
I am not surprised at all, as it is a sign of the times. It doesn't change the fact that Daniels was our leading rusher by a huge margin and had TWICE as many carries as any RB.

What really hindered Boutte was Boutte and the much better play by Malik Nabors.
This is completely accurate and I said the same thing in my post.
I simply added that his targets decreased from previous years in this offense. That said, it his primarily his own actions, and his inability to adapt to the lesser number of targets that has put him in this position. Boutte was extremely successful when he was far and away the #1 option in the offense and got a ton of targets. He was not targeted in that manner this year, showed that he cant adapt when he isn't and became a complete bitch arse diva in the process.

That says more about our RB stable than the passing game. It was the weakest in 3 decades and the only one that didn't miss multiple games was Cain.

Boutte’s production was a casualty because he was lazy, rested in the laurels of his freshman season, and is being exposed as not near the athlete many thought. His numbers suffered because he’s slow and not explosive.

I mean Kelly called him out publicly this offseason. He has motivation issues. Hard to just label it as injuries.
I said early in the season that he was fat and pouting and caught shite about it.
Also think this proves how laughable the claims of our elite receiving corps were to start the season

He will not be drafted before third round. At one time he was considered first round. His attitude won’t help his draft status

Wait, stating an opinion that Nabers (Black Man) is better than Boutte (also Black Man) at football is racist?
