Why are you melting?

It’s unfortunate but it’s not a big loss. Soooo much talent at that position

Good luck to him. I wonder if there was a potential suspension coming up, that made it not worth playing due to a shortened schedule? Will probably get downvoted, but I like to be skeptical.

He is costing himself money. He has 1st round potential with a big year at safety

He should’ve just entered this year’s draft.

He better not play a game in the nfl if there is no vaccine by next year.

He doesn’t even mention COVID. All he says is he wants to train for the nfl combine.

I guess he’s saying “playing football isn’t fun. Doing football drills is what I live for.”

I can’t see how this actually improves his draft position. Imagine if he’s actually lightly injured in the spring and unable to participate in the combine. Zero chance he gets drafted.

I hope he starts doing interviews now so teams know what he’s capable of.

I wonder if it has anything to do with needing to be around vulnerable family members (perhaps mom) since his father is gone.

He was a key contributor and pseudo starter for the best team in LSU history. Pretty sure he can "take the heat".

Best of luck Kary. I think he has the chance to be a really good Sunday player

He can put down a blazing 40 any day at the drop of a hat. So I'm not sure what he is really prepping for at the combine.

He needed to show he can be an tough nickel cover guy and the versatility of a safety. Sure he is fast. He is also small and lacking film. Playing would have helped more than it hurt.

Also , don't forget that he has now also lost the nutrition center, access to strength training facilities, etc.

He knows this season is one bad move from being cancelled at any time.

What’s the point of risking injury when you are a senior and have very little to play for?
