Certified Badass

From Shea in April:

quote:

New: An ankle injury ended #LSU RB signee Kaleb Jackson's senior season.

6 months later, he logged a 10.68 100m dash at 5-foot-10, 215+ pounds.

"The fact that he’s running these times this early in the track season is very encouraging." -

Up to 225 per LSU roster. Biggest and fastest back on the team.

Semjase predicts that Caleb Jackson and Trey Holly will be the next "Dalton-James Gang." (Dalton Hilliard and Garry James)

With the talent level and experience of this current OL, barring any major injuries, Jackson and Holly should break out as true freshmen. (Just like Hilliard and James did)

If Holly & Jackson are nearly this good, we'll all be happy for Christmas...

The dalton-james gang didn't have a log jam of quality backs in front of them.

I saw him play against STM his junior year and he looked like he was 30 years old. I really expect him to be a play maker.

One thing Kelly is not gonna do is play a RB that can't pass protect
With his size and speed, the quicker he learns that the quicker he will see the field

He may be the most talented runner on the roster, but with the room being so full with experienced upperclassmen, it’s just gonna be really hard for him stand out enough in the few reps he’ll get to take carried away from the older guys. I do hope he and Holly can find a way to enough playing time to make the transition to next year easier, because they’ll probably be counted on a ton in ‘24.
