Becomes “The Next” back at LSU. Call him Fournette, Guice, Addai, Collins, Faulk whomever.

He is Kaleb Jackson and he is going to run all over Arkansas as his coming out party.

Book it and Bookmark this.

Diggs is going to start, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Jackson is the second back to enter the game ahead of Williams with this being a home game. If you are going to give a true freshman more reps and touches, a home game is the best place to start.

Jackson looked ready vs State, and not just with that one run. He showed he could pick up a blitz as well, and that’s key for a freshman getting on the field in the SEC.

Not sure if he'll be as great as Bo Jackson but that's the other running back that Kaleb most reminds me of! They are about the same size and both had and have sprinters speed?

Your thread title is confusing considering that Arkansas’ QB is KJ.

He certainly has the talent to do that , I doubt he’ll get the opportunity with the depth we have at the position and the coaching staffs preference for upper class men

Do lots of bodies equal depth? We have plenty of backs but still not seeing quality. I’m probably just spoiled from having NFL caliber backs for 15 years. But Jackson does look like he fits the mold.

The staff force-fed Emery a few carries with it being his first game back. When he didn’t do anything with them, Jackson got the rock along with Diggs and Williams until garbage time. What about that tells you Jackson isn’t going to get reps now?

They may both have similar builds and both have sprinter speed, but Bo had once-in-lifetime, elite sprinter speed in that body.

He made a big mistake staying at LSU. He should’ve transferred to a small school where he could be the primary back and get a lot of carries and they don’t give a shite about academics.

I think he still has a covid year of eligibility. He needs to go to Nicholls or McNeese for his last season.

I completely agree but I'm an LSU Homer. Can't help myself from being overly optimistic about our Tigers! A man can dream.
