Anderson through 10 starts has a

5-0 record, 1.29 ERA, .69 WHIP, 76 strikeouts to
7 walks, across 49 IP, with a 14 K/9 rate, and a .169 batting average against.

Those are video game numbers from Anderson. He’s worked his way up to the #6 overall prospect in Baseball, and #2 overall pitching prospect. He also has better stats than the #1 overall pitching prospect.

I expect Anderson to be in the big leagues by next season, and have a long career.

No reason to wait till next season he’ll be called up for sure.

Supposedly the Mariners promote their pitchers straight to The Show.

The current 6-man rotation for the Mariners is probably the best in baseball right now.

Gilbert, Miller, Woo, Kirby, Hancock, Castillo are all hard to displace.

Sure there is. They don’t currently need him, he’s never thrown this many innings, they are gonna want to protect him, both his arm and their control over him. Bringing him up this year wouldn’t do much for either them
or him unless one of their starters gets hurt.

I do expect him to make their rotation next year. Could be out of Spring, but they could wait and save another month or 2 of control.

Then why are they 37-35?

Tyler Bremner. He’s doing just ok at high A.

Though he was drafted before Kade, don’t forget that the MLB draft is fricky. The Angels drafted a lesser prospect pitcher before Kade because they could get another guy for $2.6 million below slot value.

Found this on Facebook. Can’t vouch for it.

Seattle Mariners top pitching prospect Kade Anderson delivered another outstanding performance for the double-A Arkansas Travelers.

Kade Anderson is awesome. Final line: 6.2IP, 3H, 0R, 0BB, 6K, 13 whiffs, 8 groundouts, 80 pitches, 55 strikes.

In 11 professional starts:
6-0, 1.13ERA, 55.2IP, 30H, 7BB, 82K.

Cade's team is playing the Frisco Rough Riders starting this Tuesday for 6 days. I like to find out what game Cade is scheduled to start.
