I get what you are saying but don’t really agree with it. Would you rather have two guys that couldn’t beat out the one guy? Would you not be thinking “what if” we had a better QB had Burrow gone elsewhere each time LN or another QB made a mistake during the season? Would we be saying the coaching staff was inept at bringing in better talent because no good QB’s wanted to play for them? I hear you and share the concern about depth but all in all, I’d much rather have the more talented QB than not. Especially wth the WR’s we have this year.

I'm curious to how he managed a scholarship. I guess they were just desperate for a QB that they signed a 2 star, undersized prospect.

What could go wrong next, one of our 9 scholarship kickers transferring, maybe?

If Burrow and Brennan stinks up the joint, then CEO is on borrowed time.

O is on borrowed time now.

Offense is his mess with firing Canada.

2 kids that had their feeling hurt. Move on.

If we have to worry about our 3rd and 4th string QB's playing...........we have worse problems than anyone knows.

All I care about is the starter........and we know who that is now.

One, les and cam were the ones who signed him and (2) he may feel slighted by O and E but I don't know why. Don't think he was handled badly, it's a competition for the job and he wasn't gonna be the starter, such is life. Good luck to him.

To be fair to everyone - Les and Cam recruited dual-threat QBs

To be fair, you are incorrect. Like virtually every other SEC school and probably most P5 schools, they recruited both. Just like the current staff is.

Contrary to popular belief, both Jordan Jefferson and Anthony Jennings were listed as Pro Style QBs coming out of high school.

Any chance the race card comes in to play on the 2 QB's leaving?

Good luck to Justin.

From all accounts he seems like a stand up young man.

To not thank the current coaching staff says all we need to know about his view on them.

Bad vibes coming from Baton Rouge

The kid went out of his way to thank the previous coaching staff and did not even mention the current one.

That is not even a subtle jab at O. It is obvious

+1 JM's post is eye opening to anyone with a brain.

You get ticked off at your job, and decide to quit, are you going to thank the boss? Nah.

That’s kind of short sighted. Depth is important

Burrow was likely the best option since his name was first mentioned but he is not invincible
