All offseason we had some people really pushing that Narcisse was going to start and being really militant about it.

Now once practice started we had a few weirdos saying McMillan was going to start.

Now they’re both out. Great calls.

My guess is he'll end up at an FCS school in the Southland Conference. He'll be starting

Isn't he a pretty smart and well-spoken guy?

I wonder if he'll look at Tulane. He would likely fit Willie Fritz system pretty well and since he likely doesn't have a future in the pros, a degree from Tulane would do him well.

Anyone notice that it seemed like he deliberately left out Orgeron?

Louisiana is getting what they wanted in the hiring of Ed Orgeron.

ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

SMH. This state has no idea how to get out of it's own way. We fired one of the most successful head coaches this university has ever seen just to promote the d-line interim coach to the position. All because HE A CAJUN BOI!

Congratulations, LSU. Maybe next year you'll act like the nationally-recognized and top tier program we claim to be when we're looking for a new head coach.

Just like the state, you can't claim to care about improving while simultaneously shunning any outside influence that could possibly help.

Miles was declining and he couldn’t see it.

Dude, how do you not get this still?

Miles was still better than fricking ED "FOOTBAW" O.

LSU had so much time to conduct a proper head coaching search and they settled for promoting the interim d-line coach.

Whatever faults Miles had, he was better than almost anything that was out there, and infinitely better than O.

Why would you say O handle it badly? Everyone on this site was praying for a transfer because we knew the QB's we had were not going to win us games against SEC talent.

Oh yes, PLEASE make excuses for the O Regime that is burning down the program by the day.

What a stupid fricking hill to die on in this thread..

QBs come and go all the time at big programs you jackass. I’m glad you found another reason to scream at the sky though. What an idiot

ok i was worried there was some limitation like early in the season or consecutive or something. that's much more palatable

still only 2 QBs is scary. if either one gets injured, we have one QB

They most certainly do, and i recognize that. But this latest thing is just emblematic of the direction the program is moving in as a whole.

You HAVE to realize the hiring of O was a step back? PLEASE tell me you realize this.

That’s a better tone, thanks

Obviously O wasn’t my top choice. frick it, lets be transparent, he wasn’t even in my top 5. But shite, while he’s done some head scratching shite, the wheels haven’t fell completely off yet, so he’s going to get a fair shot in my book. The tiger rant has become much like any political forum lately. ANYTHING O does will be ripped apart and used as ammo, either AGAINST him, or FOR him, and tbh, it’s fricking nauseating. And while I’m on this topic let me say this: when he was hired, I was neutral on the whole posi vs nega bullshite.. but honestly, with the way the ‘fire O’ side is, I seriously want him to run the fricking table this season so people will just STFU.. their concerns are valid, some of their critiques are good, but most of it is just unnecessary soapbox type shite and it’s just stale to me

I support LSU, I support O, and I support the players that are here. That will never change as long as nothing major changes

I most certainly support the players.

And I fricking love this state with everything I have.

THAT is why I will not stop ripping apart Ed O, and the admin, and anyone else that continues to hold back LSU/Louisiana.

So, Coach O is preventing the state from fixing infrastructure issues? You’re unhinged dude, my god

LSU's head coaching search is a perfect encapsulation of an overarching issue with this state that has persisted for decades now. The Good Ol Boy Network is alive and well, and holding this state back from moving into the 21st century.
