Watching how all these LSU players are making a big impact early on as rookies it's really telling how much talent was on that 2019 team.

He will be a pro-bowler in no time. He is a phenomenal WR who isn't afraid to catch the ball in traffic and he has great moves and speed after the catch. I always wondered why people questioned his speed after a certain amount of time seeing him at LSU.

The 15-0 and the breaking of every conceivable record didn’t tell you how much talent we had?

LSU’s week 1 offensive sluggishness had far more cause than Brennan and Ensminger.

Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, CEH, Cushenberry, DLewis...

All are missed.

Once people get something into their head and keeps repeating it, it becomes the truth to them no matter the obvious evidence against it.

Is that the guy I was told we wasted our last scholarship on because he was a legacy ? Like the scholarships we wasted on other last guys in the class like Russell Gage, Cushenberry, Duke Riley etc ? Funny how winners win, isn’t it?

I chucked you an upvote, but if LSU signs recruiting classes full of players ranked at Gage, JJ, Cushenberry and Riley's level, we will be back in the Curley days. The top teams sign 4 and 5 stars for a reason.

I don't think he could have gone to a much better situation. Immediate opportunity without having to be WR1 from the get go.
