I'm confused... so -6 gets you +100... Money line gets you +185 last I saw, but you somehow got +225 on -2.5. This doesn't sound true.

Go to Bovada search LSU and then you can see the alternate lines. Right now you get +100 for LSU + 6 which is the spread. You get +175 for the moneyline and you can get +225 for LSU-2.5.
Short story is I am betting on the tigers to win by a FG or more. I like this team’s chances. If I can squeeze a bit more out 28.5% more yield than the ML for hoping to win by 3 points (rather than just 1 or 2) then I take it.

The odds are different for those types of bets for those not familiar with it. I lived in vegas for 5 years. You can bet on anything.I believe it's called the money line. I did it when LSU played UNLV back in the late 80's. I believe UNLV was favored by 6 or something like that. I took LSU minus 3 and got 2 to 1 odds.
