Just rewatched the game on YouTube

Well it was the “game in 40 minutes” but it was every play.
Holy shite that was a fricking WAR.
Both teams had to earn every single yard. Ball carriers were getting PUNISHED at the end of most plays.
AU has some fricking dudes on their team.
Unfortunately for them, we got some dudes too and our dudes won the fight.

I did the same. What a great game. Few observations.
The difference in the Oline with Deculus over Traore is huuuuge.
During the game live, I felt like we called it too close to the vest once we got the lead in the first half. This was not really the case. Just had some passing plays we couldn’t convert on.
Andre Anthony is pretty darn good. If you subtract the stupid penalty, he was fantastic.
Burrow unfortunately seems to get caught by the ankle every damn time he runs. Not sure why it seems to happen so often, but there were at least 4 ankle swipes that took him down.
Receivers need to get better separation. They are blanketed a lot of times in one on one man coverage . Jefferson is by far the best route runner. Seems to be the only one consistently getting open in man coverage.

Seems like their DB's were running out routes! Weird how many times they were in front of our receivers.

Thanks AU PI’d all night. I want to see Curry more. CEH is a great short yardage back. WR’s must learn to get open. Dee needs more PT. Dillon is a speedster that needs the ball. We need Anthony to keep improving. Good game but the drop off still big w/o Chaisson.

I just watched as well. Missed the game live but this was a good summary.
I feel a shitload better about this LSU team right now. Auburn is fricking legit. That's a real team with some studs. On defense in particular, those guys are mean. Our reconstructed OL was stellar against the AU front 7.
24 hour rule... I'm gonna enjoy this one as long as I can. Absolutely great win for LSU.

1. Lawrence is the best d tackle in the sec. He was a killer today.
2. Burrow isn’t the savior some fans thought he would be but he is getting better. He showed a lot of nuts today.
3. Chasen Hines will be an all American before he leaves here.
4. Receivers are not as good as hyped up to be. The big play opportunity is there but the consistency in getting open is not.
5. LSU needs to work on throwing screens out to the receivers. Help both them and burrow get involved with quick safe passes.
6. O line was a weakness last week but performed very well today. A few misses but overall they performed very well
