Bobby was a huge disappointment, but he looks pretty awesome compared to Governor Honor Code

JImbo did not turn us down as such.
He never intended to come to LSU, just to use LSU to leverage the Fl St people. Frankly Herman did the same.

When he saw the final handwriting on the wall, he bailed from Fl St. He was at odds w many BIG $$$ people.

Jimbo left LSU to FSU to develop into LSU’s post Les HC. In the weaker ACC he flourished. LSU had an agreement but screwed him at the end of the season. But the ACC got tougher, and the Gaytors and Miami returned to strong recruitment destinations. FSU quickly degenerated to a dumpster and eventually spontaneously combusted.

LSU was again interested. LSU has a top echelon recruitment base. But aTm thinks everything LSU is gold so they jumped in and offered ridiculous money.

Jimbo’s decision, high expectations and less patience, better recruiting, less money, and butt-hurt with LSU. Or, less recruiting and more money at TAMU. He took the $. Good decision for Jimbo.

Historic SEC West all time win percentage, regardless of conference, best to worse: Bama, LSU, Auburn, aTm, Arkansas, Ole Piss, and Moo State.

For 75 million, the Ags can have him forever.

Jimbo has 75 million dollars but will wait his turn until Saban leaves Alabama. Hope A&M enjoys writing those big monthly checks for the next ten years.

Yep, I like it a lot better when our offense sucks in every game like it does now

Just remember Fisher would be coach here if not for the ineptness of the AD and system president, along with Louisiana politics

A&M gave 10 years GUARANTEED! No one deserves that.

He deserves it about as much as Orgeron deserves his salary.

You deserve what you can get.

Yes, that is what happened. Jindal was a big CLM supporter. And F'King Alexander.

Jindal was a politician. Les was popular. This board is not an accurate reflection of LSU fans throughout the state. If Les wasn't so popular Jindal says nothing.

this is just patently false and i don't know why people say these things.

as i have said multiple times before, i know someone in the business who is friends with jimbo from his lsu days. this person is also friends with other coaching friends. for 2 years, jimbo was actively recruiting assistant coaches to follow him to lsu. he wanted lsu very much. if my friend knows this, it isn't a secret.

We are just as much to fault as Jimbo himself. It mutually just didn't work.

Add to it the aggie obsession with us and they will hire every LSU employee down to the janitors at the PMAC. Just to one day beat us at least once.

Jimbo Fisher is nowhere close to being worth $7 million. Not even close

That's not what happened. After Rabalais leaked the possible firing per Alleva's instruction, Miles' termination became an LSU PR nightmare. Fisher was 100% in prior to that. Some of you Purple and Gold colored glasses fans forget the offensive minusha we all suffered from '12 through '15. It was past time for Miles to go.

2015 Jimbo was all in.... 2017-18 Fisher was interested in the money and long contract ...rather it b LSU, aTm, or ANY other school who was willing to show him the money and long term contract...he knew his days were numbered at Fla State and was looking for the highest bidder... I’m not one to talk about the “ he said, she said” but I know for a fact that Fisher himself never talked to LSU back in 2015... Jimmy Sexton is his agent....he is also Saban’s agent too... my boss is one of Saban’s best friends... Saban told him that Fisher told Sexton back in 2015 that he wouldn’t talk to LSU until after Florida State’s season...that’s why all the turmoil at the season ending game back in 2015 ..Miles kept asking Alleva up to the last game of the season if he was going to b released after the last game and Alleva never gave Miles an answer... so Miles stated on Tv that it would b his last game @ LSU... he wanted to put pressure on Alleva for an answer... beings they didn’t know if they could land Fisher who they really wanted they didn’t want to be left out without a coach so they were making phone calls between the Alleva, F King and the LSU board of supervisors the whole 1st half as what to do...that’s when they decided to retain Miles for fear of not having the coach they wanted and losing Miles at the same time... they played right into Miles bluff....they were so nervous about it they went into the locker room @ halftime to tell him.... that’s the story as to what really went on.... this is the story Saban told my boss who is one of his best friends...

If an election came down between Mowgli and Honor Code, I'd choose Honor Code; Jindal was that bad.
