I know he has a son on the UNC football team, but he was chatting up UNC’s AD at a basketball event in Chapel Hill the entire night. Yeah yeah this isn’t LSU news, but I would love to see him find another gig. Lord knows UNC needs help with their football team.

I disagree.

Les Miles will always be LSU news.

He's a Tiger for life.

Thanks for sharing.

Me too. I can't believe that nobody has offered. I tend to believe that he just hasn't been offered the right job or one that he feels that he's worthy of.

North Carolina has always been a team I will pull for even though I’m not really a fan. Wouldn’t mind seeing Les coach there if fedora cant turn it around. I think at this point he is more interested in podcasting and getting gigs in commercials than coaching though.

Just biding his time until he gets the call to replace corso.

I've spoken to Miles more times than I can count and I really like him. The best thing about him is seeing that his quirkiness isn't an act. He is flat our funny and a different thinker in just about every facet.

Do you feel that his hard head has softened as he's gotten older? AD's across the country have bet it hasn't.

If Michigan fires Harbaugh do they call him?

Les has been offered. But he's currently enjoying the free $130k that rolls in every month. I'm fairly sure he's told his agent to just "look busy" while he makes podcasts and acts in movies.

And really, who could blame him?

Too old. Most places want a guy who will be there 10-15 years.

I feel like Les got too big for his job. He thought he was more than he was. I'm hoping that the firing instilled such much needed humility into Les moving forward. If not he's doomed to make the same mistakes.

The days of coaches staying at the same place for 10-15 yrs are long gone. There's a few exceptions;however,it's certainly not common place.

Even more so while we're still paying him.
